Jason Patrick left New Zealand Green Investment Finance this week, after five years in the role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
NZGIF Chief Executive Sarah Minhinnick thanked Jason for his contribution to the organisation and for his leadership within New Zealand’s climate finance community.
“NZGIF is New Zealand’s largest climate-focused investor. Jason has led a team which made over 30 different investments across a wide range of sectors which have an estimated lifetime emissions reduction of up to 1.6m tonnes of CO2-e,” said Minhinnick.
NZGIF will shortly commence an external recruitment process to appoint a new Chief Investment Officer. In the interim, Sarah Minhinnick will assume the role of Acting CIO.
